10 months in and we've reached middle earth

Its been about ten months on the road now and we have passed the equator line, separating northern and southern hemisphere. Its a pretty cool and novel thing to do. Stuff at the equator are true, we do weigh lighter ever so slightly and water down the drain does spin the other direction just not in toilets. The equator is about 30km's north of Quito and they had a park marking it Mitad del mundo, but beside there was the Intinan museo that we found more interesting $3 each.
